If you are self-publishing your novel, and you have decided you don’t want to spend money on advertising, how do you get your readers to know of its existence?
One really good (and cheap) way of doing this is through blog tours. Yes, they cost some money, but not nearly as much as advertising costs. And the best ones get you together with bloggers who review your books, interview you, host giveaways and generally help you to market your book.
I did two blog tours for my first novel Thwarted Queen, and I was very pleased with the result. I was able to get lots of endorsements to put in my novels and on my own blog. The ones I used were Rebecca Camarena’s Pump Up Your Book and Amy Bruno’s Historical Fiction Virtual Book Tours.
Have a fabulous week!
