Poem: Sadness

LakeDistrict2Sadness is like:
A sea of tears
A thrumming in the chest
An ocean of loneliness
A pricking behind the eyelids
An expanse of grief
A crumpling of the face
A longing for the past
A tightness in the throat
A feeling of loss
A low sobbing
A great fear
And
Of memories
Gone.
